This is going to be a real tough one, I’ve been really impressed with Fulham whenever I’ve watched them, they have been full of energy and caused every defence problems, we need to get behind the boys tomorrow, because they’ll need it.

Fulham are off the back of a really convincing 2-1 win over Brighton. They were dominating Brighton at times and completely overpowered them in the midfield. Joao Palhinha was fantastic, he provided a real base for Fulham to go forward and suffocate the opposition. Today, our midfielders are going to need to win their duels and be really tenacious when out of possession, in order to limit the passes which go forward.

Up the pitch, obviously the main concern is dealing with Mitrovic, he is great at holding the ball up and pinning defenders, but is also really gifted technically, his shooting is deadly and he links up the play really effectively to bring others into the game. It’ll be a big day for Eric Dier, hopefully he can prove that he can deal with someone like Mitrovic. It is a huge test for him.

If there’s one thing which Tottenham need to improve on today, it is playing out from the back. In the second half against West Ham, we were shooting ourselves in the foot, time and time again, by playing out from the back too slowly and lethargically. If we are going to do it, it needs to be fast and with intent. When we get further up the pitch, that’s where we are most comfortable, and as a team, are most dangerous.
I thought the first half against West Ham was positive. We can build on that, but this is a big game, an important one, as we head into a huge run of games in a very short space of time. I want to see us attack with pace, no sluggish build up. Let’s be aggressive and really try to kill this game.

As for the team news, it’s positive for Spurs.
Romero, Skipp and Bentancur are all back in contention to play. Lucas Moura and Bryan Gil remain sidelined with various knocks.

With this in mind, here is my Predicted XI:
Lloris, Emerson, Romero, Dier, Davies, Sessegnon, Bentancur, Højbjerg, Son, Kane, Kulusevski.
I would love a really convincing display today, to settle any doubts. Let’s go for it! Come On You Spurs!
